OXFORDSHIRE
We first worked on the interiors of this barn several years ago and ever since have been making yearly updates. However this time we tackled a bigger project by removing a large but unused conservatory. In its place we built a large stone-clad extension with zinc roof and relocated the kitchen. The new kitchen position took full advantage of the beautiful surrounding gardens and by opening into the large sitting room, the whole ground floor took on a much more open and sociable layout.
The previous kitchen location, which was in the centre of the house, became a smart dining room with hidden door providing access to the utility room.
Alongside this work, we also updated the daughters bedroom to take the room from child to teenager.
